Coachella 2027 Transportation from Riverside
Coachella 2027 runs two weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio: April 9–11 and April 16–18. From Riverside the drive is east on the 10, past Palm Springs, and on a festival Friday it takes far longer than the map says. Book one vehicle for your group and nobody has to drive the desert stretch, find parking or stay sober for the ride home.
Round trip for the day
A sedan or SUV for six or fewer can run out and back on the same day. For a party bus, reservations will plan the timing with you and set it out in the quote.
The full-weekend package
Keep one vehicle and chauffeur for the whole weekend: the drive out, daily runs between your rental or hotel and the polo fields, and the ride home on Sunday night.
Both weekends
Two-weekend groups can hold the same vehicle and chauffeur across both Coachella weekends, with the midweek runs in between.
Where you are dropped
Unless you have paid for gate-adjacent access, commercial vehicles use the public pick-up and drop-off at Madison Street and Avenue 52, and your group walks in on the festival’s marked path. Pickup points and times are fixed in writing before the weekend, because phone coverage near the venue is unreliable on peak nights.
Vehicles and minimums
Mercedes-Benz party bus vans carry up to 14, the Hummer H2 and Ford Excursion limos 14 to 20, and the party buses larger groups; Chevrolet Suburbans and Cadillac Escalades suit smaller parties with luggage. Coachella bookings carry an 8- to 12-hour minimum, and multi-day packages are quoted as a written flat rate for your dates and route. Party buses come with water and ice; guests 21 and over can bring their own drinks. Gratuity is not included unless your quote says so; 15–20% is customary.
Good to know
Coachella does not allow buses, RVs or motorhomes in its camping, so a party bus drops you and returns for you rather than parking on site. The festival’s own shuttle runs between hotels and park-and-ride lots inside the Coachella Valley; it does not collect from Riverside. We are an independent charter company, not affiliated with the festival.
